Summer- If you are planning a trip to Jaisalmer, keep your summer vacations booked for another place. The temperature soars up to 44 degrees making the heat unbearable without any respite from the rain.

Monsoon- The temperature drips down a bit but the humidity shoots up thus the downpour provides only momentary relief from the heat. A trip to Jaisalmer is less feasible and more tiring during both summer and monsoon months.

Winter- As autumn hits, the month of September until Mid March makes Jaisalmer, a warm and welcoming city. The pleasant weather during the month of October and the camel ride across the vast stretch of the desert under the starry night is an indelible experience. However, the best time to hit the golden city is during the annual Jaisalmer Desert Festival held during February or Late January.
