Naag Mandir

It is one of the most ancient temples, more than 600 years old. Many Shiva devotees visit this temple to pay respects and worship the snake King Cobra, especially during the Nag Panchami Festival. This temple has made of wood that weathered for several centuries. You can also explore the sceneries around this temple which is standing amidst lush green surroundings.

Shiva Garh

It is one of the most visited trekking destinations near Patnitop. Shiva Garhis blessed with picturesque settings at 3500 m. It is usually a one-day trek and is highly recognized by many adventurists. If you are an adventure enthusiast, then it is the best option to explore the beauty of the Patnitop region. During your trekking, you will cross through a striking pine tree forest and lush meadows and fascinating landscapes connecting Kud and Batote. Trekking equipment can be borrowed from the tourist department shops in Jammu.

Ningle Nallah

Just 10 km away from Gulmarg town, Ningle Nallah is one such mountain stream that has become the most famous destination to visit. You will feel like a painted canvas of green meadows with wildflowers on either side. Listen to the beautiful gurgling sound of this stream that will heal your soul. The Alpather Lake is the major lake of which Ningle Nallah is just an off-shoot. You can plan for a picnic or a camper bonfire or just here for hours. The amazing atmosphere, cheeping birds, and the garrulous stream make this place more wonderful to visit. You can also take a short hike to the nearest mountain and enjoy trout fishing in the streams of Ningle nallah. The Golf Course

Gulmarg golf course is one of the few largest 18-hole golf courses in our country as well as a dream golfing destination in India. Tourists can learn to golf. This golf course measures 7505 yards at a par of 72, which was inaugurated in 2011. People from across the world come for golfing on the lush green golf course, where snowy mountains serve as an outstanding attractive background.

Thajiwas Glacier

Situated at an altitude of 9,186 feet at a short distance from Sonamarg, Thajiwas Glacier is highly bestowed with magnificent beauty. It is undoubtedly one of the most attractive sights you will ever come across and you can witness the magnificent marvels, build snowmen and enjoy a sledding ride. Take a hike to several waterfalls.

Amarnath Cave Temple

This is a holy place for the pilgrims, which is located at an altitude of 3,888 meters approx, about 29 kilometers from Pahalgam. Worshiping the Shiva Lingam inside it and seeking blessings at the Amarnath Temple is such a holy feeling for Hindus all across the globe. Every year, a large number of devotees visit it from June to August, with the pilgrimage tour famously known as the Amarnath yatra. It is one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas.

Baltal Valley

Located at almost 2,743 meters and located 15 kilometers north of Sonamarg, Baltal Valley is scattered with snow-covered mountain peaks, waterfalls & glaciers, and the Sindh River. Nilagrad River

It is a highly admired river, located 6km from Sonamarg. You will experience the picturesque beauty around the river is soothing as well as the pine trees to the gushing water.

Krishnasar Lake

Located at an elevation of 3800 m above sea level, this is known as the Lake of Krishna. Krishnasar Lake is an ideal paradise for nature lovers and others. Also, it attracts a lot of people who love fishing. This lake is bounded by dense alpines, the place offers a cool and pleasing atmosphere.

Dal Lake

It is known as “The Jewel of Srinagar” and spreads across an area of around 26 square kilometers. You can see colorful Shikaras, traditional wooden houseboats, and floating markets. Take a ride in the attractive Shikaras, wooden boats ornamented stunningly with canopies overhead. It gives a chance to shop for authentic Kashmiri items from the floating market or lake market. Shalimar Bagh Mughal Garden

It is one of the largest gardens of the 3 breathtaking Mughal Gardens and one of the most beautiful places to visit. It is made by Jahangir back in the year 1619 for his beautiful wife Noor Jahan. It is settled on the banks of the tranquil Dal Lake and has lush green terraced lawns, fountains, pools, flower beds, and rows upon rows of chinar trees and pavilions. Tulip Garden

Situated in the foothills of Zabarwan Range & opened in 2007, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden had its name among the world’s 5 best tulip gardens and Asia’s biggest garden till date. It aims at enhancing floriculture as well as tourism in the area. It has the rarest of rare tulip varieties, including the “Queen of the Night”. The annual festival is held in spring between the months of March and May. You can see different sorts of flowers like Hyacinth, ranunculus, daffodils and many more. It hosts around 60 varieties of multi-colored tulip flowers.

Mughal Gardens

Srinagar is home to some of the lovely Mughal Gardens in India. These gardens are running water and a pool that would replicate the splendor of the sky and the garden. Betaab Valley

It is one of the most tranquil places to visit which is widely popular for its stunning and magnificent views including mountains that are protected by pine forests and deodar trees and the attractive Lidder River flowing through the valley. The valley forms a pathway for the pilgrimage going for Amarnath Temple Yatra. Tourists can enjoy horse riding and explore a wide variety of flora as well as a photo walk, trek, sightseeing, adventure ride, etc.

Sheshnag Lake

This is yet another must-visit destination which is popular for its clean water and is home to different species of fish. As per the belief, it belongs to Sheshnag, the lord of snakes. So it is an important place for Hindu devotees. Being an oligotrophic lake, it offers drinkable water. It stretches up to 1.1 kilometers at the maximum and the maximum width is around 0.7 kilometers

Lolab Valley

Sudh Mahadev

Sudh Mahadev is a highly worshipped temple, is situated in Chanhani town near Patnitop. It is the home of Lord Shiva in the natural black marble Lingam with a Trishul and a mace. Pap Nashni Bowli is another nearby sacred place that is known for cleansing the sins of anyone who bath under it.

Kudo Park

Located on the Udhampur-Srinagar highway on the way to Patnitop from Jammu, here in this amazing park, you will explore the stunning collection of species of flora.
