By Air: The most convenient way to reach Andaman is by air. Veer Savarkar International Airport located in Port Blair is well connected to major cities of India such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. Many domestic airlines operate regular flights to and from Port Blair, making it easily accessible from different parts of the country.

By Sea: Another option is to travel to Andaman by sea. Regular passenger ships and ferries operate between Port Blair and Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam. Travel by sea usually takes longer than air travel and depends on weather conditions. Passengers can choose from different classes of accommodation on these ships, ranging from basic bunk beds to more comfortable cabins.

Before planning your trip, it is essential to check the availability of flights or ships and make reservations accordingly, especially during the peak tourist season. Additionally, make sure you have all the necessary permits and documents to travel to the Andaman Islands, especially if you are a foreign national.
