It is one of the oldest museums in Gujarat and is set on the shore of the stunning Hamirsar Lake in Bhuj. You must see the major remaining collection of Kshatrapa inscriptions which are the oldest Kshatrap six inscription-stones. This museum has the only Gujarati Abhir inscription of the 3rd century. It has the now-extinct Kutchi script and an exciting collection of coins, including the Koris - Kutch's local currency till 1948. Also, see the ‘Airavat’- the mythical snow-white elephant with seven tusks. The body part is painted with flowers. You will have great knowledge.
