On arrival meet our representative and drive to the luxury houseboats. On arrival relax, then proceed to Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. The gardens are situated along the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is approximately 12 km. Also Visit the botanical garden, Royal Spring, and Pari Mahal. Enroute visit carpet weaving factory. Overnight stay in houseboat/Hotel.
After breakfast proceed for full day trip to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2.30 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes.
Spend your time leisurely strolling or riding ponies (at your own cost). You can enjoy a fun-filled ride in the newly introduced Gondola lift (at your expense). After a day filled with fun, return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast Proceed for a full-day excursion to Pahalgam, 2440 meters high, with a 2.30 hours journey on way. You will visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins, Anantnag sulpher spring, Bat village, and apple orchards. Pahalgam is famous for its Indian Film Industry. After enjoying the natural beauty of the valley, return to your hotel or houseboat for the evening. Overnight in your hotel or houseboat.
After breakfast early in the morning proceed to Kargil. Another spectacular sight in Kashmir is the Sindh valley. It is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. After Sonmarg the most difficult road and Zojilla pass (Gateway to Ladakh) lay ahead. Continue driving to Drass (the 2nd coldest village in the world) after 2 1/2 hours of driving, and you will arrive to Kargil at an altitude of (2715 mts). You will stay in a hotel there overnight.
The day begins with breakfast at your hotel. After that, leave for Leh. On the way, halt at Lamayuru Monastery, one of the oldest of Ladakh's monasteries. Then drive along Mulbekh Pass, containing the famous Lord Buddha Sculpture. Transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free in order to acclimatize to the high altitude. Overnight stay in Leh.
Breakfast at the hotel. Half day tour of Spituk and Phyang Monastery by Jeep. Afternoon visit by foot to Kings Palace, Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa, and Leh Bazar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out of your camp/hotel and head toward TSO Pangong, ascend Changla Pass 5486 m. Browse through the picturesque villages below the pass, then stop for a picnic lunch at Tso Ltak, a yak pastureland in the summer. Arrive in Durbuk, then drive a few minutes to the western shore of the lake. Enjoy the surrounding landscape.
As the sun moves across it, Pangong Lake reveals changing hues. It's one of the bluest and clearest lakes you've seen so far, home to migratory birds like ducks and geese as well as rare and elusive birds like the Black-necked Crane. It will surprise you to learn that the lake lies only partially in India, with most of its length in China.
Upon arrival, you will check into the camp/hotel and spend the remainder of the evening walking around the lake. Have dinner and overnight stay in Pangong.
