By Air- You have to board a flight to Srinagar International Airport which is about 95 km from Pahalgam. Then hire a taxi, us or shared jeeps to get to Pahalgam.IndiGo Airways, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, etc, are the major flights.
By Train- You can easily reach Pahalgam via train which is connected to major cities like Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, Kolkata, Chennai, Rishikesh, and Kanyakumari. Then hire a taxi, or get on a bus to get to the hill station. Udhampur is the nearest railway station to Pahalgam.
By Road- You can find several taxis available from Anantnag to reach Pahalgam in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Also, there are many buses that you can board from Anantnag, Jammu, and Srinagar.

Aru Valley
It is one of the most beautiful tourist places in Srinagar that provides unbelievable beauty and appeal. It attracts many fun and thrill enthusiasts from across the globe. You can enjoy thrilling adventure activities, including camping, fishing, and horse riding. It is the beginning spot of the Sonamarg trek and Kolahoi Glacier. It is also a perfect skiing destination during the winter season.
Chandanwari
It is the starting point of the admired expedition to Amarnath Cave. Located at an elevation of about 2895 meters above sea level & about 16 km from the heart of Pahalgam, Chandanwari is a beautiful place to visit, blessed with natural beauty.
This is also famous amongst adventure enthusiasts for its snow bridge. You can have a great opportunity for trekking through the enthralling sceneries of Jammu and Kashmir as well as river rafting. Chandanwari is also the best place for a picnic. You can witness the lush greenery, majestic hills, and meandering streams. Panchtarni and Sheshnag Lake are some of the beautiful places to explore while en route to Amarnath Temple. You can buy embroidered clothes and ancient artifacts from the local markets. Modur Pulao, Syoon Olav, Monji, and more are delectable local cuisines.
Tulian Lake
It is situated at Pahalgam in the district of Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir, at a height of 3,684 meters above sea level. The water of this lake is turquoise blue and there are several lumps of ice floating in it. The unspoiled water and panoramas of the surrounding mountains make it a famous tourist spot. Tulian Lake remains snow-capped for the most part of the year. The lake is separated by a narrow inlet that connects it to the source of water. The trek to Tulian Lake is an adventurous one.
Betaab Valley
It is one of the most tranquil places to visit which is widely popular for its stunning and magnificent views including mountains that are protected by pine forests and deodar trees and the attractive Lidder River flowing through the valley. The valley forms a pathway for the pilgrimage going for Amarnath Temple Yatra. Tourists can enjoy horse riding and explore a wide variety of flora as well as a photo walk, trek, sightseeing, adventure ride, etc.
Sheshnag Lake
This is yet another must-visit destination which is popular for its clean water and is home to different species of fish. As per the belief, it belongs to Sheshnag, the lord of snakes. So it is an important place for Hindu devotees. Being an oligotrophic lake, it offers drinkable water. It stretches up to 1.1 kilometers at the maximum and the maximum width is around 0.7 kilometers
Lolab Valley
Situated in the north-western part of Kashmir, Lolab valley is blessed with fresh and tranquil surroundings that draw the attention of tourists. Witness the Lahwal River that flows from east to west as well as the snow-capped mountains, misty valleys, and lush green meadows. It is widely popular for treks, rivers, waterfalls, and meadows. You can explore famous caves such as Kalaroos, Chandigam, Satbern, and Khumriyal.
April to June is the best time to visit this amazing place and enjoy all sorts of adventures and activities. Neelum Valley and Kashmir Valley are some unspoiled valleys near Lolab Valley.
