Situated on the banks of a lake on the park road Silchar, Gandhibagpark is a lovely park, named after Mahatma Gandhi. You will see ShahidMinar inside this park which was made as a memorial for 11 martyrs who died while fighting for the protection of their Bengali language against the government of Assam on 19th May 1962.
