Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary
This sanctuary is also known as the 'real ocean of green paradise on earth'. It is a virgin forest left mostly unspoiledand unexplored. It is home to a massive number of animals, plants, birds, fish, butterflies and reptile species. You will witness various wild animals including tiger, leopard, jackal, Himalayan black bear, Indian porcupine and wild dog, etc.
You can also see snakes including Himalayan cat snake, cobra and python. This Sanctuary has an extensive variety of herbs, shrubs, flowers and plants. You can witness some of the most attractive natural lakes such as Mehao Lake.
Mayudia
It is a unique hill resort 56km from Roing. Located in the middle of lush greenery and the magnificent backdrop of the Himalayas, it is one of the most beautiful places to explore. It is an outstanding place for trekking and honeymoon couples. You will witness snowfall and the remarkable valley that set the right atmosphere for you to feel oneness with nature.
Mehao Lake
Situated within the Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary at a height of almost 3000m, it is one of the major tourist attractions of Arunachal Pradesh.Mehao Lake draws the attention of tourists from all over owing to its tranquil atmosphere spell. You can go trekking and boating and so on.
Bhashmaknagar Fort
This huge fort was made with burnt bricks in the 12th century. Undoubtedly, this is one of the most significant and oldest archaeological sites of Arunachal Pradesh.It covers 1860.52 sq.meters of land and has three halls, two extension rooms and six entrances. You will witness several artifacts like potteries, terracotta figurines, terracotta plaques and decorative tiles.
Sally Lake
Located a mere 3 kilometers from Roing, it is yet another timeless beauty of Roing. Undoubtedly, it is a stunning place to expect in Roing. It overlooks the remarkable valley below and it is covered by dense green forest located in Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary. You will see varieties of fish in the lake.
Iphi-PaniGhat

Nehru Van Udyan

You will see the Eje-Breeze Tower here which provides amazing views of the Deopani River. Nature lovers will witness the beautiful convergence of Rivers Eje and River Eme.

Situated 12 km away from Roing, it is excellently known as Chimiri Fort. It is considered to be a 14th-century construction. This hill fort is a standing proof of the architectural genius of the past.
